THE WRAP ME UP STORY

The wrap me up story

Wrap me up is... a zero waste approach that stimulates the replacement of single-use gift wrap by unlimited-use fabric packaging.

We collect quality fabric scraps from decoration stores before they are thrown away.

After some cutting and sewing, the fabrics are ready to live a second life as reusable gift wraps.

There are many techniques for fabric packaging. Furoshiki, for example, is a Japanese folding technique.

Try converting several close friends to this alternative packaging and have them share the fabric pieces by offering them to each other.

Fabric packaging differs from traditional gift wrap in that it reproduces the shape of the object to be wrapped (especially round objects). It is also easier to handle than wrapping paper.

Moreover, this technique allows mistakes: if you’re not satisfied with the result, all you have to do is untie the fabric and start again!

We wish you a lot of fun with your fabric packaging!
